Clay and I went to Landmark Park a while back and it was awesome...in a hot and crowded sort of way. There was some old period homes, an old church, a general store, a doctors office and post office. This is exactly what I imagined when I was reading To Kill a Mocking Bird a few weeks ago (which I am not exactly sure if those time periods match up...oh well).
We ended the trip by escaping the sun by sitting in the shade of the old soda shop. As we sipped old bottled Coca-Colas (which are not better than yours, Dad), we watched people non creepy way. Not that there is ever a non creepy way of staring at a stranger from across the field intently trying to read there lips as they are dramatically retelling a story...oh well.
