With Joy getting older and having more energy Clay and I have started taking nightly walks,in addition to morning walks (we believe a tired puppy is a happy puppy).
On these walks we can sometimes hear the explosions of target training in the nearby fields. We can't see the fields because of the thick vegetation that reminds me of a jungle . So with the combination of the scenery and the spontaneous explosions we both agreed that it feels like we are in the Hunger Games and those explosions are the SERE (Survive, Evade, Resist, Extract) Training students who didn't make it.
During these walks we usually find frogs and try to catch them. Clay has perfected the art of catching frogs so that the frogs will jump into his hand. The other night Clay tried to catch a small frog but it jumped right into his face and stuck to his cheek. It then jumped and stuck to his shirt. Needless to say Clay was freaking out (so was Joy) and I was in a fit of giggles. We let the frog go but we caught 2 more.
Clay declared that day a Three Frog Day.

This story made me laugh!!!!
