2012 Christmas in One Post

So many different events happened while we vacationed in Utah so I thought I would just write about them and only provide two pictures.  Wish me luck...

The Moultrie Christmas tradition is to go around the room and sing our favorite Christmas song (the picture below is obviously Once There was a Snowman).  We also made a snowman compete with a gun and an NRA hat.  We had a Christmas dinner and wonderful treats that we enjoyed while playing one of Cody's many many games.  It was a blast to visit and see what everyone was up to this upcoming year.

The Knight Christmas tradition involves a little more costume design (but doesn't most Christmas traditions...maybe not).  We raid the old costume trunk and choose costumes that will somehow go along with the various roles needed to tell the Nativity Scene story.  Dad reads the story from the bible and mom video tapes while crying (the crying part isn't actually part of the tradition but it seems to happen every year...no matter how crazy the costumes are).  We also made Christmas Cookies and caroled as we handed them out.

We loved being able to spend the Holidays with our families!  It was hard to say goodbye but it won't be forever and we will be back before we know it.  But until then we will have Christmas memories.
