I almost questioned my marriage when Clay told me that he had never no did he ever want to go to Disney World...what type of person doesn't like Disney (the same people who give out tooth brushes for Halloween that's who). Well instead of freaking out I enlisted my sister, Shelby, to help me plan a trip to the Happiest Place on earth (or is it the most Magical Place on earth...no wait that is Hogwarts... never mind).
We spent 3 days going to the 4 different parks at the Disney Resort in Florida over the Thanksgiving Holiday. Shelby and Johnny were such great sports for allowing Clay and I to be their 4th and 5th children on this trip.
Highlights of the trip in no particular:
- Seeing Hazy dance with Princess Aurora wearing the same dress
- Two words: THUNDER MOUNTAIN
- Sol hitting the power button on the Buzz character and Buzz pretending to power down
- Clay admitting that he enjoys Disneyland
- Johnny not getting nearly as wet as me on that stupid River Raft ride
- Shelby keeping her promise to Hazy about going to Pizza Planet someday
- Yelling to the different characters at the light parade and getting them to blow kisses at us
- Eating HUGE turkey legs on Thanksgiving (while watching a sky writer remind us who we should be thanking)
- The Disney Castle lighting up
