DC continued!!

We took so many pictures on this trip that I felt it necessary to split the trip up into to posts. So as Paul Harvey would say "And now the rest of the story".

DAY 3: More of the Smithsonian

Haze was my little buddy at the Smithsonian.

Although she got bored quickely and found a way to entertain herself.

Maybe the world looks more fasinating upside down.

Clay and I at the Air and Space Museum (aka Aerosmith museum) lol.

So here is a funny story. As we left the Air and Space Museum we thought it would be a good idea to take a bathroom break. This sign was displayed above the enterence to the left wing of the museum.

Notice anything wrong with this sign? Yup, there is no Men's restroom symbol.

Thinking this was a typo we all headed down to the bathrooms only to find that there was two Women's bathrooms and no Men's.

Needless to say it was pretty funny and as we were walking away we heard a guy say "wait there are two girl's bathrooms and no boy's...man that is messed up". Glad that they thought the same thing.

DAY 4: Abe and The Cupcakes

We decided to ride our bikes around the Mall before we headed to Georgetown Cupcakes.

Camie told us a story about how when they first carved the saying on the wall of the Lincoln Memorial. On the word future the artist missed spelled it as "Euture". You can see how they tried to fix it. Hey everyone makes mistakes, some are just bigger than others... oops.
